Carlo Ancelotti Didn’t Rule Out the Opportunity to Coach the National Team

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Carlo Ancelotti is among the candidates for the new coach of the Brazilian national team. Interestingly, the Real Madrid tactician did not rule out the possibility of being able to handle a national team.

Brazil’s national team coach position is currently vacant after the departure of Tite. The Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) is seriously considering a replacement.

Initially Pep Guardiola was predicted as a prime candidate for this job. However, this is now almost impossible to materialize after he chose to extend his contract at Manchester City.

Ancelotti’s name then emerged as another candidate. The fact that he has succeeded in maximizing the potential of Brazilian players in Madrid is his main consideration.

But being coach of the Brazilian national team is not in Ancelotti’s plans in the near future. He is still focused on serving Madrid.

Even so, Ancelotti hinted that he was ready to handle the National Team in the future. That’s what he wanted to do before retiring.

“To be honest, I feel great at Madrid. If it were up to me, I would never leave Madrid,” Ancelotti said as quoted by Diario AS.

“But you never know when you’re going to stop. A coach’s job is like that.”

“Maybe at the end of my career, I will think about (the offer to coach) the national team,” he added.

Throughout his coaching career, Ancelotti has never handled a national team. One of the reasons is because he prefers to carry out his duties every day, not just at certain times.

However, it is possible that Ancelotti will take on this challenge at the end of his career. Apart from Brazil, he was also offered to handle the Italian national team, which is his homeland.
