Casemiro perfected Manchester United

DBasia.news – The Dutch tactician admitted that he was satisfied with Casemiro’s performance in Manchester United’s 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League. Ten Hag reckons that the Brazil international is the perfect complete package midfielder for the Red Devils.

“Since the beginning of the season we knew that we needed a defensive midfielder. Before the season started, we decided to bring in a new midfielder and we have now received a perfect defensive midfielder. We are really pleased with his [Casemiro] presence in this team,” Ten Hag said to MUTV.

“He showed good skills as well as great leadership skills. He was able to bring the team together and also played a big role in our flow of the ball. Casemiro was good at recovering the ball and getting it to the right players. It looked like our third goal.”

Casemiro was brought in by United from Real Madrid last summer for 70 million pounds. At the start of the season, the 30-year-old player had difficulty adapting to English football, but slowly he showed his quality and was able to appear solid in the Red Devils midfield. So far, the Brazil international has played in 22 matches with a record of one goal and three assists.

The defensive midfielder will struggle to make a comeback when United travel to Wolves on New Year’s Eve.
