By news-admin

DBasia.news – Arsenal goalkeeper, Petr Cech denies the news that he will return to Chelsea. Besides, Cech also talks about his teammate, Mesut Ozil.

Petr Cech was rumored to leave Arsenal during the 2018 summer transfer market, due to Bernd Leno arrival from Bayer Leverkusen.

Leno’s arrival threatened Petr Cech’s position as Arsenal main goalkeeper. As a result, the Ceska national team goalkeeper considers leaving.

Chelsea will be the main club destination of Petr Cech if he leaves Arsenal. Moreover, they have a good history when Cech played for The Blues from 2004 to 2005.

The news is getting stronger as Chelsea will let go of Thibaut Courtois. However, Petr Cech denies the issue and commits with Arsenal.

“I have a contract with Arsenal. I am concentrating on this season, on the competition between the goalkeepers because we have plenty of options,” Petr Cech said.

“I’m doing my best to show to the manager that I can be in the starting line-up when the season starts. That’s my aim and as for the speculation, I don’t really follow it,” he added.

At the same time, Petr Cech also sends his support to Ozil after retiring from Germany national team. Cech hopes Ozil will concentrate and give his best for Arsenal.

“He’s training really well, he’s happy to be with us and we’re happy to have him back as well because he is one of the key players in our team,” Petr Cech said.

“He has the support from the team and we hope by the start of the season he will be fit and ready to perform for us,” Petr Cech added.
