DBasia.news – It has been a decade since Arsenal haven’t achieved the Premier League title. Moreover, the goalkeeper Petr Cech, said Arsenal seems like forgetting how to be a champion.
Arsenal’s performance was decreasing in the past two seasons. Last season, they got kicked from Premier League big four. The failure made Arsene Wenger eliminated.
Arsenal appointed Unai Emery as the new coach. With the new coach, Cech hopes Arsenal could rearrange their power.
Cech also hopes Arsenal could follow the former world’s top golf player, Tiger Woods.
“I take Tiger Woods – five years since he won a major tournament and the longer it goes – the harder it becomes. This club hasn’t won the league for over 10 years so obviously you need to get back into knowing how to do it,” Cech said.
Cech also said his team is on the right track. Moreover, they got five consecutive winnings in recent matches.
“We started with the new manager from scratch basically and we try to get this mentality of winning every game, progressing every game, working every day and hopefully we can build this up and win the title sooner rather than later,” he concluded.
