Chelsea Approach AC Milan’s Defender

Alessio Romagnoli
DBasia.news – Chelsea are predicted to be active in the upcoming transfer market. This time, The Blues are setting his eye to AC Milan’s defender, Alessio Romagnoli.
Actually, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has found the pattern for the two defensive scheme for David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger. However, Andreas Christensen and Gary Cahill’s performances as the option isn’t compatible for the main squad.
Hence, Chelsea will recruit Romagnoli in the 2019 summer transfer market. Moreover, Sarri who once led Napoli has understood about Romagnoli’s style.
“I can see Sarri trying to clear that backline out. I’m going to put miss, because are we talking about January or are we talking about the end of the year?” said one of the football experts, Craig Burley to Express.
However, Chelsea’s plan to recruit Romagnoli won’t be easy. Il Diavolo Rosso won’t let go of his player easily.
“It’s up to AC Milan. They’ve got new owners, they’re trying to build something, they’re obviously really trying to push for the top four this year,” Burley insisted.
“There’s going to be a little bit of time before they’re fighting for the Scudetto. But they’ve made some good signings, they’ve got a top striker up front. They’ve had a half-decent start to the season and it’s about keeping the best players for AC Milan, not selling,” he concluded.
