Callum Wilson
DBasia.news – Seeking the striker with a goal-thirst is Chelsea’s priority in the transfer market. Apparently, both Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata haven’t performed satisfyingly and in total, they just scored six goals in the Premier League.
Seeing how these two aren’t the prominent players for Sarri, he makes a move in this winter transfer market. The club want to sign Callum Wilson from AFC Bournemouth. Moreover, The Blues manager assistant Gianfranco Zola confirmed that the club want to sign the 26-year-old player.
The winner of 2012 Champions League are ready to spend £75M to strengthen his attacking line. Even though The Blues’ interest in Wilson has been rumored wide, Bournemouth coach Eddie Howe insisted that the club haven’t received any serious offer from Chelsea.
“We’ve had no interest in any of our players. Everything has just been speculation, which you (the media) understand as this is the month for it.” Howe said cited by Goal.
“From my perspective and the team we have above me, we are always working together to try and find solutions to make the squad stronger and continue to move the team forward. We’ll do that again, like we have done through the process that we’ve been together, for the benefit of Bournemouth. No interest or no actual inquiries? No, nothing,” he concluded.
Besides targeting Wilson, the West London club also associated with AC Milan striker, Gonzalo Higuain.
