Chelsea Manager Reveals Tammy Abraham’s Injury Conditions

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  After appearing at the Valencia headquarters, Thursday (11/28), Tammy Abraham had suffered an injury on his hip. This has made Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard, hopes the injury suffered by Abraham is not severe.

Abraham suffered the injury after colliding with one of the Valencia players at the end of the first half. This injury also made Lampard decide to pull out Abraham and enter Michy Batshuayi in the second half.

“I don’t know yet how severe the injury was to Tammy Abraham. Currently, he is still in the locker room and receiving treatment from the medical team, “Frank Lampard was saying as quoted on the official UEFA website.

“Abraham experienced problems in his hip after a collision. However, I’m sure he did not suffer injuries that were too severe as suspected by the medical team. “Lampard added.

Abraham himself is indeed a key player for Chelsea this season. The 22-year-old player was a successful Blues top scorer in the Premier League with 10 goals. In addition, he also managed to score one goal in the Champions League.

This injury has made Abraham expected to be absent when Chelsea hosts West Ham United this weekend. Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi will also compete to replace Abraham and appear as a starter in the match against West Ham later.
