Chelsea Need A New Midfielder Replacing Cesc Fabregas

DBasia.news – Chelsea transfer maneuver continued after ensuring Christian Pulisic transfer from Borussia Dortmund next summer. Now, The Blues are looking for the new midfielder to replace Cesc Fabregas.
The Spanish 31-year-old midfielder was sold to AS Monaco and now, Maurizio Sarri has no option for Jorginho. Sarri asked the club to find Fabregas’ successor.
“Today Jorginho was in trouble and on the bench there wasn’t a player for that position so I need a player for that position,” Sarri said cited by Sky Sports.
Sarri said that after the 2-1 victory of Chelsea against Newcastle United on the 22nd-week of Premier League, Sunday (13/1). The Italian manager asked the replacement of Fabregas. However, Sarri admits that he doesn’t know whether the club could sign him this January or not.
“I have no idea. The club knows very well my opinion. I need a player there so it depends on the club’s decision. I cannot do anymore,” Sarri said.
It’s rumored Chelsea are targeting the 21-year-old Italian midfielder Nicolo Barella to replace Fabregas. He is currently the player of Cagliari.
