Chelsea Suffers a Big Loss because of Antonio Conte

By db-admin

DBasia.news –   Former Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, is seen as the reason his team is losing money. It is believed that Chelsea would not play in the 2018-19 Champions League.

Quoted from the Daily Mail, Wednesday (1/1/2020) Chelsea’s loss due to being absent in the Champions League has reached 96.6 million pounds.

“Chelsea have announced a loss of £ 96.6 million for the financial year ending June 30, 2019,” wrote the official Chelsea report.

Whereas in the previous period, according to the report, in 2017 and 2018 the team currently being cared for by Frank Lampard has made quite a big profit. Losses that reached millions of pounds did not include costs related to the sale and purchase of new players.

Chelsea CEO, Bruce Buck, stated that Chelsea’s revenue growth over the past few seasons was quite alarming. But he believes that this can be passed.

“Even so, the winning and playing in the Europa League that season was quite helpful and are able to play the Champions League competition this season,” said Bruce.

“The club currently led by Frank Lampard brings optimism that the club is in the right position to maintain success both on and off the field,” concluded Bruce.
