Chelsea trying to target Inter Milan’s wonderkid

Chelsea are actually targeting three Inter players at once, namely Milan Skriniar, Denzel Dumfries, and Casadei. The quality of the first two names is unquestionable as they are key players for the Nerazzurri.

But Chelsea’s chances of signing Skriniar and Dumfries are a challenge to materialize. It could not be separated from the high tag that was installed by Inter.

While the emergence of Casadei in Chelsea’s target list is somewhat surprising. The 19-year-old midfielder has yet to make his official debut in the Inter first team.

This fact didn’t makke Chelsea doubt the quality of Casadei. According to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Blues are ready to increase their bid to get the wonderkid’s services.

Chelsea has made an offer to Inter of 8 million euros. However, this amount was flatly rejected.

Inter are believed to have set Casadei at 15 million euros. The two sides are still negotiating to find common ground.

Chelsea are believed to be soon completing the transfer of Casadei, who was the best player for the Campionato Primavera last season. The team from London did not want to be cornered by Nice or Sassuolo who were also interested in the player.
