Chelsea will Loan Ethan Ampadu

DBasia.news – The embargo transfer from FIFA has left Chelsea dead in the transfer market this summer. So far, the Blues have only made Mateo Kovacic’s contract from Real Madrid permanent.
This then has made the Blues move quickly to secure their young talents, after extending Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s contract, they had also just added to Mason Mount’s services until 2024.
Unfortunately, the same thing did not happen to Ethan Ampadu, the Welsh player was not even seen in the squad that flew to Japan. Frank Lampard as the team manager also confirmed that Ampadu will soon undergo a loan period in the upcoming 2019/20 season.
“Yes, Ethan Ampadu is not in the squad leaving for Japan, we are considering loaning him in the 2019/20 season,” said Lampard as reported by the London Football.
“Last season when I was training Derby County, I had time to borrow him, obviously I like Ampadu’s performance. But the number of minutes he played before was very minimal, so I have to think of his interests and Chelsea,” added the 41-year-old man.
In addition, Chelsea will play two pre-season matches in Japan, they will first challenge Kawasaki Frontale on Friday (19/7), while the second match against Barcelona will take place on July 23.
Chelsea does not seem to be having a hard time finding a new club for Ampadu, the latest news stated that the team that has been successfully promoted to the Premier League, Aston Villa, has become one of his enthusiasts.
