Chelsea will make Mateo Kovacic’s Transfer Permanent

DBasia.news –  Mateo Kovacic, Real Madrid midfielder, is getting closer to being a permanent player (no longer a loan) at Chelsea. The Blues can still shop players despite being punished by FIFA.

Chelsea received a ban for registering new players after being found guilty of recruiting underage players. In the case, the Blues brought in players from outside Europe when they were not 18 years of age.

Until now, an appeal submitted by Chelsea to the arbitration court has not received an answer. As a result, the Blues still cannot register players in the 2019 summer transfer market.

However, Chelsea did not run out of idead to outsmart the transfer penalty. Chelsea are rumored to be signing Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid.

Chelsea have agreed to disburse funds of 50 million euros to Real Madrid. El Real was thrilled to accept the offer as Kovacic had not been included in Zinedine Zidane’s plan. On the other hand, Madrid also needs fresh funds to balance the balance sheet.

So why can Chelsea still bring in Kovacic? The Blues can recruit the Croatian national team player as they have registered him in the 2018-2019 season even though he was on loan. This was possible because at that time Chelsea had not received a sentence.

Now, Chelsea and Real Madrid are discussing some transfer details including bonuses. The agreement can be closed on Saturday (29/6).

Previously, Chelsea also managed to recruit Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund. The United States national team player can join as the transfer was completed in January 2019. Pulisic was prepared as a successor to Eden Hazard who was headed for Real Madrid.

Chelsea opportunities to bring in Mateo Kovacic: 80 percent

Given the relationship between the two clubs, Chelsea are predicted to have no trouble getting the signature of Mateo Kovacic. The former Inter Milan player is the best solution for the current situation. Last season, the player appeared in 51 matches with a score of two assists.
