Christian Eriksen says Marcus Rashford has never player badly

DBasia.news – Christian Erikses, midfielder for Manchester United, praised Marcus Rashford, who has consistently shown good performance throughout the 2022-2023 season.

Rashford has rediscovered his form by bagging 10 goals in 21 matches in all competitions. Finally, Rashford contributed one goal and assist when United beat Nottingham Forest 3-0, Wednesday (28/12) morning WIB.

This performance was in response to criticism directed at Rashford regarding his performances in the 2021/22 season. At that time Rashford was only able to score five goals.

Eriksen said that England’s failure at the 2022 World Cup did not have a major influence on the 25-year-old player’s actions. Even though he admits he doesn’t know Rashford’s performance when strengthening the national team, Eriksen thinks his team-mate has provided a positive atmosphere for United.

“He played well, and fortunately I’ve never seen him play badly when I also played. I let him continue with that performance, he looks sharp and confident,” Eriksen said as quoted by the Manchester Evening News page.

“You could feel it when he was going to attack. You feel it in the stadium, and you feel it with him, and it’s a pleasure, and I hope he continues to do so.”

“You can see he’s coming back with a fair amount of confidence. I haven’t seen a lot of his games [with England], and of course you have seen a lot more. But he came back in good shape, and he knows that.”

Rashford’s appearance means United don’t have to worry about losing their goal machine after Cristiano Ronaldo left Old Trafford. Rashford is believed to be showing his ligh with United, and helping the team finish in the top four this season.
