Christian Pulisic Advised to Leave Chelsea
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Since arriving in June 2019 from Borussia Dortmund, Christian Pulisic’s performances have been uncertain with Chelsea. The 24-year-old player has not become a regular player for the club, when he was coached by Frank Lampard, Thomas Tuchel, until now with Graham Potter.
The situation is even more challenging for players whose contracts expire in 2024, as now the competition at Chelsea is getting tougher after the club spent heavily on players. There are Mykhaylo Mudryk, Noni Madueke, Raheem Sterling, and Mason Mount as Pulisic’s competitors.
No doubt the legend of the United States national team, Eric Wynalda believes that Pulisic should leave Chelsea. He sees a number of options for Pulisic in Europe from AC Milan to Real Madrid.
“AC Milan are the most attractive for that category, which needs to find their form to hold off several clubs for the final Champions League place in Italy. If Milan can do so, securing fourth place or higher, that would be his best option in my opinion,” Wynalda said as quoted from Goal.
“Real Madrid have not made a clear written offer yet, but if they do they will win this competition for their services. Newcastle (United) will be about the money. Moving back to Germany will be a familiar place.”
“Milan will be about stories, Real Madrid will be about perception. Whatever it is, his new club will make most of the transfer money back on jersey sales. Don’t ask for the current number 10!”
Wynalda believes that the career of the United States national team player is no longer being helped by Chelsea. His situation at Chelsea is also a concern for a number of clubs and at 24 years of age, as well as the quality he has, Pulisic is still in demand by many European clubs.
“One thing we do know, Chelsea have turned the waters so murky there is no turning back to London for Christian Pulisic,” Wynalda added.
“Christian Pulisic has been gossiped about to almost every top club in Europe, Newcastle seemed to be the most believable about two months ago but they slipped up and are no longer the goal.”
“The amount (Pulisic’s transfer fee) is reportedly up to 60 million United States dollars. The other teams that could be his next home are all fighting for a place in the Champions League and will be a decisive factor. The teams are not only in England but, Spain, Germany and Italy,” he explained.
