Christian Vieri thinks Inter Milan must bring in Felipe Caicedo

DBasia.news – Inter Milan legend, Christian Vieri suggested the Nerazzurri to bring in SS Lazio striker, Felipe Caicedo who performed brilliantly with the Biancoceleste.
“If I were the director of Inter, I would sign Caicedo, as he is perfect for the role of the 12th player,” Vieri said as quoted by Italian Football, Wednesday (11/11).
Vieri vented his frustration with the Nerazzurri’s inconsistent performances in the last few games. The player nicknamed Bobo Vieri urged the club management to bring in a player who can improve the quality of Inter’s front line.
The reason is, in recent weeks Inter have lost their flagship striker, Romelu Lukaku. La Beneamata’s goal-scoring instinct seemed to have been lost.
In the last five games, Inter have only won once, with three draws and one defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League.
“I will tell Caicedo, you are Lukaku’s replacement, come and join us. He may not accept, but at least try, if not, what do the directors do all day?,” he continued.
Vieri’s suggestion made sense. Caicedo is Lazio’s supersub player. As a substitute striker, he often saves his team from defeat. Most recently, the 32-year-old striker scored a 1-1 equalizer against Juventus.
According to Whoscored, Caicedo has played eight games with the other five playing as substitutes. The Ecuadorian attacker also recorded four goals for the Capital City Eagle.
