Conditions for Koeman if he wants to extend his contract as a coach

DBasia.news – Barcelona is currently negotiating a contract extension for Ronald Koeman as coach. Regarding the extension of the coach’s contract, Barcelona president Joan Laporta has proposed three conditions.

Reported by Diario Sport, the negotiations have been running since two weeks ago. Koeman’s representative, Ron Jansen, regularly meets with club officials.

During the meeting, Laporta reportedly proposed three conditions to extend Koeman’s contract. Laporta has asked for guarantees that the Blaugrana would play well and would not suffer the same fate as last season.

Then Koeman should be able to bring Barcelona to the trophy. Although last season Koeman managed to bring Barcelona to the Copa del Rey, Laporta is said to be dissatisfied.

The president wants his club to continued to be king in Europe. Even so, Laporta will be quite satisfied if Barca could return to being champions of LaLiga.

As a final condition, Laporta has asked Koeman to guarantee a strategic plan to open opportunities for La Masia academy graduates.

Koeman joined Barca in July 2020 to replace Quique Setien.
