Confirmed: De Gea and Matic Joins Man United’s Pre-Season Tour

DBasia.news – Two Manchester United key players, Nemanja Matic and David De Gea, as reported by Manchester Evening News, will join his friends during the US pre-season tour.

David De Gea is currently enjoying his holiday after performing in 2018 Wolrd Cup along with Spain national team. He will leave to the US before the match versus AC Milan in Carson City (25/7).

Meanwhile, just like De Gea, Matic is also on his holiday after the World Cup. The Serbian player is spending his holiday in Italy, his hometown. He will also follow The Red Devils squat to the US.

Manchester Evening News released, some Man United players who performed until the end phase of World Cup like Romelu Lukaku, Paul Pogba, Phil Jones, Ashley Young, Jesse Lingard to Marcus Rashford will absent during five matches for the pre-season tour.

“The majority of the big teams will be without players because we cannot start the Premier League with our players involved in the World Cup. They are going to have three weeks off, which I think is the minimum that their body and souls need, and is the minimum to make them return with conditions to think about football again,” said Jose Mourinho last week.

Manchester United will start the 2017-2018 Premier League by a match with Leicester City in Old Trafford, Saturday (11/8). A week later, Romelu Lukaku and friends will come to Brighton.
