DBasia.news – Reporting from the club’s old official, Lazio striker Joaquin Correa and Fiorentina midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli have just extended a new contract with their respective clubs. The new contract period Correa and Castrovilli will tie them to the club until 2024.
Argentina’s Correa was brought in by Lazio from the Spanish club Sevilla in 2018. This season, Correa has only scored one goal in seven Italian League games he has played. However, he always entered the first team and only appeared as a substitute.
The Lazio Tifosi are believed to be pleased with the news of Correa’s contract extension. Most Laziale certainly will not forget Correa’s brilliant performance in the Italian Cup final against Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico last May.
In addition to appearing neat in the match, he also became one of the goalscorers when Lazio won 2-0 over Atalanta and ensure the capital club ended the title fasting for five years.
In Florence, the extension of Castrovilli’s contract was announced at a press conference.
The 22-year-old made a good start at the start of the season with Fiorentina. He collected one goal and one assist from seven Italian League matches.
He began his career at Bari and spent the last two seasons on loan at the Serie B club Cremonese.
Castrovilli only made two appearances for the Italy Under-21 national team and will no longer be able to add to the record. But he is one of the players who is always monitored by senior Italian national team coach, Roberto Mancini.
