DBasia.news – Cristiano Ronaldo spoke up after being accused of violating health protocols that made him positive for the coronavirus. The captain of the Portuguese national team firmly denied the accusation.

Ronaldo reportedly tested positive for the corona virus before the Portuguese national team played a match against Sweden in the UEFA Nations League continued, this middle of the week. This made him have to step aside for a moment from the green field.

But unpleasant news came to Ronaldo shortly after he tested positive for the corona virus. He is considered by a number of parties to have violated health protocols when he left Juventus’ isolation period in order to strengthen his country.

One of the people who have accused Ronaldo of violating health protocol is the Italian Minister of Sports, Vincenzo Spadafora. He considered CR7 had rejected the local health authority regulations or in this case the city of Turin.

Juventus players are indeed required to undergo a period of isolation at the J Hotel after two club staff were infected with the corona virus. This was done ahead of the match against Napoli which was later canceled because the visitors were not present.

Should, the players are required to return to the hotel after the match. But Ronaldo refused to follow these orders and chose to return to his residence.

A day later, Ronaldo flew to Portugal to fulfill the call for the national team. Several other Juventus players have also followed suit.

That is what lies behind the accusations against Ronaldo. But the former Manchester United star tried to defend himself.

“I didn’t violate any protocol because everything was done with authorization. Especially for the Italian man whose name I will not mention, it’s a lie, I adhere to all protocols,” Ronaldo said as quoted by Goal.

On the same occasion, Ronaldo also explained that his condition was fine. He tried to recover as soon as possible by following various recommendations from the medical team.

“The sun is very helpful. I like to be on the terrace sunbathing because it is very important to have high levels of vitamin C and D, with high levels of Selenium, Omega 3, eat well and properly, and exercise,” he added.

“Eat well, lots of vegetables and don’t abuse sugary foods to have a strong immune system.”
