Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Manchester United in January?

DBasia.news – Cristiano Ronaldo is likely to leave Manchester United in the January transfer window.

CR7 has the option to play in Asia. The president of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Yasser Al-Misehal, admitted he would love to see the veteran striker play in his country.

The Portugal captain had a difficult start to the season. The player has only started two games and is yet to score. Erik ten Hag now prefers Marcus Rashford on the front lines.

Ronaldo was strongly rumored to be leaving United last summer. He is said to want to move to a team that can offer him to play in the Champions League.

However, despite the rumors of moving  to Napoli, Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid and Chelsea, no offers for the superstar have come from Europe.

Ronaldo was approached to play in Saudi Arabia. However, he rejected the proposal to move to the Middle East.

As reported by The Athletic, Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr are interested in signing Ronaldo.

This was agreed by Al-Misehal who hinted that there was a new offer from a team in his country that would soon be sent, especially after CR7 had a bad start to the season.

“We would love to see a player like Cristiano Ronaldo play in the Saudi League,” said Al-Misehal.
