Dean Henderson is Ready to Compete with David De Gea to Become MU’s Main Goalkeeper

DBasia.news – Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said his second goalkeeper, Dean Henderson, was currently developing. Henderson is even considered able to replace David De Gea as the Red Devils main goalkeeper.
Dean Henderson returned to Manchester United after his loan term at Sheffield United ended. Henderson has recorded 10 appearances in all competitions and recorded five clean sheets.
This is inversely proportional to De Gea’s declining performance. Especially in the match against Everton last weekend which ended in a draw with a score of 3-3. The Spanish goalkeeper made a fatal mistake and resulted in the first ever goal for Everton.
“Dean plays well whenever he gets the chance. He is mature and for me he has developed his game,” said Solskjaer as quoted by Sky Sports.
“I know he doesn’t play as much as last season, but you can see his progress in every game he has played and is in training.”
“He’s worked hard to work on some aspects of the game that we’ve talked to him about it and I’m impressed by his attitude and level of work,” the manager added.
Even so, the 47 year old manager is not unsure how long Henderson will have to wait to become Man United’s main goalkeeper.
“Obviously Henderson is not the most patient person. He wants to play every game knowing he will do well, hopefully that continues because he has improved since coming back here.” closed Solskjaer.
