Defeat Man United, Mourinho Happy with the Choice of His Attacker

DBasia.news – Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho said he was happy with the choice of his attacker who he called extraordinary after successfully beating Manchester United on Sunday (04/10).
Jose Mourinho could not hide his excitement about the ability of his squad at Tottenham after the 6-1 thrashing of Manchester United by calling his attacking lines extraordinary.
Spurs netted 13 goals in five days after beating Maccabi Haifa 7-2 in the Europa League and in delivering United’s worst home defeat in the Premier League era on Sunday night.
Son Heung-min and Harry Kane contributed two goals apiece, while Tanguy Ndombele and Serge Aurier scored one goal after the hosts opened the scoring through a Bruno Fernandes penalty.
The Portuguese manager is still unable to play Gareth Bale because he is not fully fit, as are Giovani Lo Celso, Steven Bergwijn and Carlos Vinicius, while Dele Alli once again appeared as a substitute in the second half.
“Only a squad can win three games in five days, only this squad,” Mourinho said via Standard Sports.
“That’s why I said against Chelsea, that the squad that won wasn’t the people on the pitch, the same was against Maccabi and tonight also.”
“This is a squad and a squad has many options and lots of good players, especially in attack, the potential, the many options is incredible.”
“Lucas (Moura), (Erik) Lamela and Gareth Bale, Vinicius, Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Bergwijn, Son and maybe I forgot someone. What an incredible squad we have in attack.”
Jose Mourinho also revealed that the club has provided a more improved squad so that the goal they hope is to win every game. But of course it is not possible because there must be times when they lose like against Everton and draw like against Newcastle United.
