Defeated Bournemouth, Liverpool’s 33 Undefeated Game in the Premier League

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Liverpool continued their undefeated record in the Premier League to 33 matches. That was confirmed after a landslide 3-0 win over Bournemouth in week 16 which took place at Dean Court.

Jurgen Klopp’s rotation was in his squad. Sadio Mane was substituted and replaced by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The former Arsenal player played as a trident along with Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.

For 30 minutes the game went exciting. Bournemouth, at first, played cautiously in anticipation of Liverpool’s lightning counterattack. But over time, the home team’s game began to improve.

Problems occurred to the host. Nathan Ake was injured in the 35th minute and was replaced by Jack Simpson. A few seconds later, Bournemouth goalkeeper who guarded Aaron Ramsdale immediately conceded a goal.

Two English players, Jordan Henderson and Oxlade-Chamberlain, worked together on the goal creation process. Henderson bounced the ball between Bournemouth’s defense and was struck by Oxlade-Chamberlain. Liverpool won 1-0.

Five minutes later, a player has continued to be injured. This time, Dejan Lovren was injured and replaced by Trent Alexander-Arnold. Joe Gomez moved to the middle and played with Virgil van Dijk.

Coming to halftime, Liverpool moved away with a 2-0 lead through a goal scored by Naby Keita in the 44th minute. An assist was given by Mo Salah who pulled the attention of the opposing defenders and gave the back-heel operand that was struck by Keita. 2-0 for Liverpool’s superiority.

The glory of Mo Salah continued in the second half. The Egyptian wing attacker scored in the 54th minute when he welcomed an assist from Keita. That means, Mo Salah has always scored against Bournemouth in five meetings against them. 3-0 for Liverpool.

Eddie Howe has included Lewis Cook and Dan Gosling in the remaining two changes. However, Bournemouth’s problem remains the same: difficulty creating chances in the final third of Liverpool’s defense. As a result, there weren’t many tests for Alisson.

Liverpool controlled the game well and kept clean sheets until the end of the fight. Merseyside Red won 3-0 and is getting stronger at the top of the standings with 46 points, 10 points adrift of Leicester City who are second and have only played 15 matches.
