DBasia.news – Won’t stumble down for too long after the two consecutive defeats, Liverpool senior midfielder James Milner asked The Reds to revive and returned to the victory track.

After unbeaten in 20 matches of Premier League this season, Liverpool fell down. Manchester City were the main actor following the 2-1 victory at Etihad Stadium.

After that, Liverpool revived when they played against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the third round of FA Cup. But, Mohamed Salah and friends got defeated with the same score.

Despite the two consecutive failures, James Milner believes Liverpool would return to the track. Moreover, The Reds have some champion players.

“We have to make sure we bounce back and look at where we can get better. You’re never going to go a full season without having blips. I think at the start of this season we weren’t playing our best but we were getting results,” Milner told Liverpool Echo.

“(It’s) back-to-back defeats now, which really isn’t good enough for us, but you have blips in a season. It’s about how you respond,” he said.

Next, Liverpool will visit Brighton home in the 22nd-week of 2018-2019 Premier League at Falmer Stadium, Saturday (12/1). Liverpool must win because they are only four points higher than Manchester City in the second place.

“I think you’ve seen the character in the squad in the last few years, and the players we have, to know we will bounce back,” Milner explained.
