Denies racism, this is Louis van Gaal’s answer
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Louis van Gaal has denied Ruud Gullit’s allegations over his claim that black coaches are being detained by the Dutch national team.
Dutch legend Gullit recently stated that black coaches are only allowed to be assistants in the national team but they are not given the opportunity to lead training sessions.
However, Oranje boss van Gaal hit back at Gullit’s comments as “nonsense”, saying the former AC Milan and Chelsea star had no idea what he was talking about.
Van Gaal told a news conference: “I am amazed that he can see from his home in Amsterdam or Italy whether a coach is training or not.”
“It’s just bullshit. My assistant, Edgar Davids, gave so-called dry Italian training this week.”
“I don’t want to burden my players physically, Davids has played a long time in Serie A, they do a lot there and Davids can do that much better than me.”
“Everyone can say anything from home and it’s never contradictory. Unless the national team coach is asked, then I give my opinion.”
