Deschamps Doesn’t Call Him to France National Team, Aymeric Laporte Is Upset

Moreover, Aymeric Laporte feels like Didier Deschamps has a personal problem with him. The 24-year-old player revealed he could be the world champion if called.

“Of course I don’t think it’s because of a sporting issue, you’d have to ask him personally, I don’t have anything personal against him, but if someone has a problem it’s him and not me,” Aymeric Laporte said.

“I could be a world champion… but these are the decisions of the coach, who is not calling me for, I think, personal reasons, and I have to respect him,” he continued.

Essentially, Aymeric Laporte still has the option if France national team don’t call him. Laporte might support Spain national team in the future.
