Digne Moves to Everton
By news-admin
DBasia.news – Lucas Digne ended his devotion for Barcelona. Digne is officially released by Blaugrana and joining the Premier League club, Everton.
Barcelona got Lucas Digne two years ago. At that time, Blaugrana paid 16,5 million euro (Rp278 billion) to get Digne from PSG.
However, the France defender couldn’t steal the left defense position of Blaugrana. Lucas Digne was left behind Jordi Alba for Barcelona’s defense.
However, Barcelona still gained profit from Lucas Digne transfer. Blaugrana got 20,2 million euro (Rp340 billion) from Everton.
Lucas Digne is ready to use his experience in Barcelona to perform well with Everton. The 25-year-old defender wants to compensate his failure in Camp Nou.
“Everton is a big club with a great history. I want to play games, win games and excite the fans with the quality of our football,” Digne said.
“I want to show my best football here and discover the best league in the world. Everybody loves the Premier League. I am loving the fact I am coming here,” Lucas Digne continued.
Though came from Barcelona, Lucas Digne is predicted won’t be easy to steal the main left back position. Currently, there is Leighton Baines on it.
