DBasia.news – Maurizio Sarri, Chelsea manager, will meet Chelsea management after the 2018-19 Europa League final takes place against Arsenal in Baku, Azerbaijan, Thursday (30/5) WIB.
Although only arriving at the start of this season, Maurizio Sarri has been rumored to be leaving Chelsea. The manager has received rejection from several Chelsea supporters.
In addition, Maurizio Sarri is also reportedly likely to replace Massimiliano Allegri as Juventus coach. La Vecchia Signora wants to immediately meet Sarri to see the possibility of bringing the coach to Turin.
However, Maurizio Sarri immediately muffled the circulating speculation. The former Napoli tactician is optimistic that he will stay at Chelsea.
“My future is on Wednesday. I just need to think about the final match at the moment. I still have a two-year contract here. So, I don’t have a contract with other clubs at this time,” explained Sarri as reported by the London Football.
“I have to talk to the club after the final. I want to know whether they like me or not, that’s all. I still have a two-year contract,” continued the manager.
Sarri believes that his future at Chelsea will not be determined by the results of the match against Arsenal. Sarri stated that he was very happy to be the manager of the Blues.
“No, if the situation is like that, I will leave. You cannot work 10 months, then the result is determined in only 90 minutes. That’s not true,” Sarri said.
Maurizio Sarri brought Chelsea to reach the Champions League qualifying goals 201-2020. Chelsea finished third with a point difference from Tottenham Hotspur who finished fourth.
