DBasia.news Donny van de Beek is reportedly having a hard time at Manchester United. There are reports that the Dutch midfielder wants to leave at the end of the season.
According to the Daily Star, Van de Beek is looking to meet vice president, Ed Woodward at the end of the season. The player is said to want to leave in order to save his career.
Van de Beek was actually recruited by MU at the start of the season. The 23 year old player was purchased from Ajax Amsterdam for 40 million pounds, with a five-year contract.
Coming to MU, Van de Beek had quite a hard time seizing the main place. Now, he has only played 26 times in all competitions. However, he only started 9 times, with only two starters he felt in the Premier League.
Even though at Ajax, Van de Beek had a vital role, where he could help Der Amsterdammers advance to the 2018/2019 Champions League semifinals and win the Eredivisie.
At MU, Van de Beek was unable to compete with Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic. This is what makes Van de Beek reportedly want to leave.
Currently, MU has been ranked second in the Premier League standings, under Manchester City.
Given that the Red Devils can improve by reserving Van de Beek, it is predicted that the club will not object in letting him go at the end of the season.
