DBasia.news – Chelsea wing striker, Eden Hazard, added his assist record in the Premier League when Chelsea drew 2-2 against Burnley in Week 35 of the Premier League, Tuesday (23/4) WIB.
Chelsea were left behind when the match had been running for eight minutes. Jeff Hendrick grabbed a wild ball from the Blues.
The hosts equalized the position four minutes later. N’Golo Kante listed his name on the scoreboard after getting Eden Hazard’s mature pass. The score changed to 1-1.
According to Opta’s record, that has been Hazard’s 13th assist this season. This number puts him at the top of the list of Premier League assists 2018-2019. Whereas, compared to the records of previous seasons, Hazard created one more.
Chelsea turned ahead in the next two minutes. This time, Gonzalo Higuain completed Cesar Azpilicueta’s pass.
Burnley replied to the goal to equalize to 2-2 in the 24th minute. Ashley Barnes completed the guest corner scheme.
With these results, Chelsea finished fourth after collecting 67 points. Nevertheless, the position of Maurizio Sarri’s squad can still be shifted by Arsenal who have one fewer points, but has one less number of matches.
Chelsea’s journey to win a Champions League ticket was heavy as they would still face Manchester United in the remaining three games. In addition, the focus of the Blues must be shared with the Europa League semi-final match against Eintracht Frankfurt.
