Eden Hazard turns down Newcastle United’s offer

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Newcastle United’s mission to bring in a row of new stars is experiencing obstacles. The Magpies have reportedly just been rejected by Eden Hazard.

Newcastle is building a large project under the Public Investment Fund (PIF) consortium belonging to the Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman. The club from Tyneside has ambitions to become one of the best clubs in the world.

To realize this dream, Newcastle is determined to collect new stars. Funds are certainly not a problem as Prince Salman has unlimited funds.

Hazard is one of Newcastle’s target players in the transfer market this winter. His presence is expected to help Eddie Howe’s team free from the relegation zone.

Newcastle’s opportunity to bring Hazard should be wide open. The 31-year-old player was only a back-up at Real Madrid.

Madrid itself will have no objection releasing Hazard as long as the price is right. Los Blancos also need fresh funds to bring in Kylian Mbappe.

According to El Nacional’s report, Newcastle have made an official offer to Madrid for Hazard. The amount reached £33.4 million plus a bonus of £8.3 million.

The offer was certainly quite tempting for Madrid, but not for Hazard.

From the same report, Hazard has dismissed the possibility of a move to Newcastle. He was only willing to leave Madrid to play at another big club.

Hazard seems to prefer a reunion with Chelsea. With the Blues, he has transformed into one of the best players in the world.

But Hazard’s move to Chelsea will be challenging to materialize. In addition to funds, Thomas Tuchel does not really need the addition of new players in the midfield position.

It is possible that Hazard will change his mind and accept Newcastle’s offer in the rest of the transfer market. Moreover, he needs to play a lot to secure a place in the Belgian national team for the 2022 World Cup.
