Eden Hazard
DBasia.news – Chelsea have been preparing the plan to anticipate Eden Hazard’s exit to Real Madrid. The Blues want to make Manchester United striker Philippe Coutinho as the successor.
Real Madrid have been eyeing Eden Hazard since the 2018 World Cup. At that time, the Belgium national team player was prepared to replace Cristiano Ronaldo who joined Juventus.
However, until the transfer market closes, Real Madrid didn’t get Hazard. The 28-year-old player chose to stay after talking with the new manager, Maurizio Sarri.
Now, Hazard’s future has been the speculation after he talked about the possibility to wear Los Blancos jersey.
“Why not? You know it very well. You’re asking the question, but you know what the answer will be so you don’t have to ask it,” Hazard said cited by Marca.
Philippe Coutinho
Hearing his statement, Chelsea have initiated the engine to find the new player. The choice goes to Barcelona winger, Philippe Coutinho.
Currently, Philippe Coutinho’s situation in Barcelona is unstable. The 26-year-old player is no longer the main choice of Ernesto Valverde. Apparently, Coutinho opens to any chance to move soon.
Barcelona would only open the negotiation door if the offer touches 100 million euro. That’s the obstacle for Manchester United in signing Coutinho.
In the pursuit of bringing home Coutinho back to England, Chelsea and Manchester United need to think twice while offering. If there’s any transfer fee war, Barcelona would be the only party benefited.
Philippe Coutinho’s Chance to Chelsea: 40%
It would be difficult for Chelsea to sign Philippe Coutinho without releasing Hazard to Real Madrid. Besides that, Coutinho might be in a dilemma if he returns to England because he would play against the club that grew him, Liverpool.
