Eder Militao’s own goal

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Real Madrid were forced to concede a 1-0 win over Barcelona following an own goal scored by Eder Militao in the 26th minute

In the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final which took place at the Santiago Bernabeu, Friday (3/3), Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets set a separate record as he surpassed Lionel Messi & Sergio Ramos’ record in El Clasico.

This defeat didn’t make Madrid fall, considering that they still have a chance in the second leg which is planned to be held at Camp Nou at the beginning of next month.

In the third meeting for both of them this season, Barca were slightly superior after only swallowing one defeat to their rival, while the other two matches ended in their favor, one of which ended in the Supercopa trophy.

Militao’s own goal is the fourth goal scored this way in El Clasico in the 21st century, and three of them for Barcelona (Ivan Helguera in May 2002 in the Champions League, Raphael Varane in February 2019 in the Copa del Rey and today).

Barcelona will host bottom-of-the-table club Valencia in LaLiga this weekend, while Madrid will visit Real Betis.
