Edin Dzeko Rejects Offer to Juventus

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Edin Dzeko reportedly rejected an offer to move to Juventus last weekend, as he was determined to stay at Inter Milan.

The 36-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina international player arrived last summer from Roma practically free of charge, in a deal worth 1.5 million euros plus performance-related bonuses.

Dzeko scored 17 goals and provided ten assists in 48 competitive games for the Nerazzurri in the 2021/22 season, and he is under contract until June 2023.

Dzeko’s position at Inter is threatened with the return of Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea.

If Alexis Sanchez leaves by terminating his contract by mutual agreement, then Paulo Dybala will likely enter on a free transfer.

According to Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, as reported by Football Italia, Juventus made an official offer to sign Dzeko over the last 48 hours, but the striker turned it down.

At the same time, Dzeko also arrived early for pre-season training, showing his great determination to make a mark with Inter.

This is not the first time Dzeko has been linked with Juventus, as his game and work rate made him a favorite target for coach Massimiliano Allegri.
