Edin Dzeko Satisfied with Rome’s Way in Winning over Bologna

DBasia.news –  AS Roma won a dramatic win over Bologna at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium in the continuation of week four of Serie A. Rome striker, Edin Dzeko, was satisfied with the victory.

Playing with 10 players after Gianluca Mancini was sent off, Dzeko became a hero in the final minutes – beating Lukasz Skorupski with a header to change the outcome of a match that looked set to end in a draw, to three points.

Speaking after the match, the striker admitted that the way they won would be a great booster for his team.

“Winning this way feels better,” Dzeko said.

“In general this is a challenging match for us, as we always go through here, against tough teams but I think we deserve to win in the end. We continued to fight until the end, we fought even after we played with 10 people. We did well so as not to concede for even a second, mainly because we lost in the number of players, even before that goal I had a good chance [to score]. “

He added: “In the first half we played our style, but maybe we didn’t have a good final finish. It’s always hard to play here, but overall I think we played well. Maybe they are more fit than us, but we are in good shape and you can see that in the end. “

“Playing with 10 players, we remain focused, compact and we were able to counterattack to score the winning goal.”
