DBasia.news – Arsenal technical director, Edu, stressed that his side would bring in players who had character.
Throughout this summer’s transfer market, the Gunners have not brought in any new players. But the director ensured, Arsenal were working to transport players who had a classy attitude.
“People must understand that talent is not enough anymore. Everyone struggles for talent, everyone talks about talent, and talent is important in football, but in the real world it is no longer enough,” Edu stated.
“We have to look for more than that. They have to express themselves, they have to feel comfortable with this club, the players must understand what this club thinks about them and also what they think about us,” he continued.
“So in the end, we have to work together, at the same time and in one direction, and the message is important for anyone to understand, even for players, team talents, they must understand that talent is now not enough, “Edu explained.
“They have to work hard, they have to take care of themselves, they have to prepare themselves before training, they have to take care of themselves during training, also when off the pitch. That’s what makes them better. Things like these when added with talent, means they will be at the top level, “he concluded.
