El Clasico is Important for Barcelona and Real Madrid

DBasia.news – Real Madrid will make the El Clasico match against Barcelona as a moment of awakening after swallowing two successive defeats. Moreover, the match which will be held on Monday (2/3) AM at the Santiago Bernabeu, as it is Zinedine Zidane’s 200th match as coach of Real Madrid.
Los Blancos has not won three times after being held to a draw by Celta Vigo and lost to Levante and Manchester City in the Champions League. Zidane stated that the El Clasico match will be his team’s moment to rise.
“A good opportunity to reverse the momentum. I am a positive person and my players will go to win,” Zidane said as reported by the US.
The Frenchman said his players were still working hard and looked forward to escaping the negative results. Especially now that Madrid and Barca are in first and second position in the LaLiga standings with 12 games remaining.
“Of course it’s an important match. But there are still many matches ahead. We will do our best to win,” said Zidane.
While in the opposing camp, Barcelona coach, Quique Setien, stated that Real Madrid would need a victory at El Clasico. That’s why Setien believes the opposing camp will experience greater pressure.
“El Clasico is the key. That is more important for them than for us. Because if we win, we will be five points ahead,” Setien said as quoted by Marca.
Setien stated, this match became important as it could make his team continue to lead the standings. He also considered that El Clasico this time was no different from the previous one.
“We all want to win and play well. This is a special match,” Setien said.
