El Pistolero Defines Barcelona’s Victory over Inter Milan

DBasia.news – An important victory in the second match of Group F of the 2019-20 Champions League was won by FC Barcelona on Thursday (3/10) morning.
Barcelona defeated his guest, Inter Milan by a score of 2-1 in the match that took place at Camp Nou.
For these results, Barcelona is ranked second with four points, under Borussia Dortmund who won 2-0 over Slavia Prague. In third place, there is Slavia Prague with one point and Inter finishing last.
Barcelona, who immediately went down with the trident of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Antoine Griezmann, were made surprised by the visitors’ breakthrough who stole the lead in the third minute via the tearing of Messi’s compatriot, Lautaro Martinez.
Receiving assists from the former Barca striker, Alexis Sanchez, Martinez won a quick duel with Gerard Pique and tore the Barca goal guarded by Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Inter immediately closed the defense post-superior meeting.
Barcelona, as predicted, dominated possession in the first half. However, Inter’s tight and solitary defense made it difficult for them to create many chances. Some opportunities are created, from Griezmann’s header and Arthur’s kick just wide of the Inter goal.
The Nerazzurri also have at least two clear chances to increase their lead. However, opportunities from Sanchez and Stefano Sensi could still be thwarted by Ter Stegen. The first half ends for Inter’s advantage.
In the second half, Barca’s game changed with the entry of Arturo Vidal in the 53rd minute replacing Sergio Busquets. Barca’s midfield is more alive because of the typical box-to-box midfielder Vidal, while Frenkie de Jong anchors the game in the middle.
As a result, Barca’s constant pressure yielded a goal from kicking firs time Luis Suarez on 58 minutes. Receiving Vidal’s pass, Suarez fired a left-hand shot past Inter without being able to be pushed over by the captain, Samir Handanovic.
The goal provides momentum for Barca. They finally turned superior in 84 minutes through Suarez’s second goal. El Pistolero, receiving Messi’s pass, passed his compatriot, Diego Godin, and scored against Handanovic. 2-1 and Barca keep the awesomeness of the Nou Camp.
Disappointing results for Inter. In fact, Martinez became the first figure from Inter to score at Camp Nou since Mario Bertini did it in 1970.
“I think we played well, we proved that we can give Barcelona problems and there is regret when we don’t kill games when we have the chance,” Conte told Sky Sport Italia.
“Now we have to cover our wounds immediately and get ready against Juventus on Sunday (local time). I have a hard time talking about positive things after the defeat because I suffered when we lost.
