Emmanuel Petit wants Patrick Vieira to coach Arsenal
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Arsenal legend, Patrick Vieira, is considered worthy of coaching Arsenal after the club sacked Unai Emery.
Support for Vieira to train Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and his friends was suggested by the French and Arsenal national team, Emmanuel Petit. According to Petit, Vieira has the capacity to train his former club.
“Indeed there are many other suitable trainer candidates. But I prefer to see Vieira on the bench. He has coached for several years and what he did with Nice young players is very good,” Petit said as quoted by Sky Sports, Saturday (11/30/2019).
“Besides that, the most important thing right now is to get back the trust of the public. In terms of club spirit and value, Vieira was able to do that,” he added.
According to Petit, Arsenal at the moment is like losing the passion and value of the club. These problems must be the focus of the next Arsenal coach.
“We lost it all. I think some people were sorry when Arsene Wenger left, but we were able to get it back from Vieira,” Petit said.
About other prospective coaches such as Nuno Espirito or Mikel Arteta, Petit said both of them also have the capacity and quality to training the London Cannon team.
“I am very impressed with what Nuno did at Wolves. Their progress is perfect. “Even though Mikel Arteta also has a good thing, especially with Pep Guardiola,” concluded Petit.
