England National Team Calls Three Chelsea Players

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  The appearance of Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori, three young Chelsea players, attracted the attention of Gareth Southgate, head coach of the English national team. Manager Frank Lampard’s three players have received a call from the England national team to play in the next match of the upcoming 2020 European Cup qualifiers.

Tomori and Abraham have just shown an important combination to help Chelsea win their first victory in the Champions League Group H qualifier against Lille.

Tomori sent a long-ball pass, which crossed Lille’s defense before being welcomed and Abraham was used perfectly to score Chelsea’s first goal in a 2-1 win over Lille at the Pierre-Mauroy Stadium.

Besides Abraham and Tomori, their other partner who is in the process of regenerating the new era of Chelsea, Mason Mount, was also called by Southgate.

Mount had previously been called up in England’s second window in Group A of the 2020 European Cup qualifiers when he entered as a substitute in the 4-0 win over Bulgaria and 5-3 against Kosovo in early September.

As a result, Southgate crossed out Tottenham Hotspur’s attacking midfielder, Bamidele Alli, Liverpool midfielder, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Manchester United duo, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Jesse Lingard.

England are scheduled to undergo two away matches in Group A, namely to the Czech Republic on October 11 and Bulgaria three days later.
