Equaling to the highest number of goals in Serie A, Immobile believes that his dream has come true

DBasia.news – Ciro Immobile successfully matched the record of 36 goals in the Serie A season scored by Gonzalo Higuain, and officially winning the Capocannoniere title and European Golden Boot winner, the striker claimed his dream had came true.
Ciro Immobile scored one goal when Lazio defeated Napoli 3-1. These additional goals has made the Italian national team striker equaled the record for most goals in a season held by Gonzalo Higuain with 36 goals.
For Immobile, what he achieved today is thanks to the help of other players. The striker was satisfied after what he underwent. Moreover, Immobile also won the European gold boot.
“I am very proud of what I have achieved, especially when looking back to where I started and who I have been through,” Immobile said as reported by the Lazio Style Channel.
“If you really believe, sometimes dreams will come true. I can only thank the coach, staff, teammates, and I am sure this record is for the whole team.”
Ciro Immobile is a player who has been with various clubs. Juventus, Pescara, Genoa, Torino, Borussia Dortmund, and Sevilla are a row of teams that have been defended by the 30-year old player.
However, Immobile only reached the peak of his career in personal achievement while at Lazio. Immobile was transformed into a goal-hungry striker.
“I am also grateful to the Lazio supporters who made me feel so needed to the team. I am proud of that. I want to be a living example if you don’t give up, you can achieve any target,” Immobile stated.
