Erik ten Hag revived Manchester United!

DBasia.news – This season, the journey of the Red Devils in their new era with Erik ten Hag begins. There will be many challenges and obstacles that will be faced by The Red Devils in the future, but until now fans have been satisfied with the team’s performance.
Even though there are still inconsistent moments shown by Man United this season, the impact of Ten Hag’s arrival is clear when compared to the team’s performance last season, especially since the squad is not much different from last season with the addition of several new players.
After less than a season training at Man United, Ten Hag has brought the club to end their six-year wait for a trophy by winning the League Cup. Man United are also still fighting in two different events to try to win it, namely in the Europa League and FA Cup.
Ten Hag also implemented an offensive and entertaining game in the Man United squad so that fans would enjoy watching their favorite team even more. Not only that, the team collective is also strong and Ten Hag holds the locker room well.
Judging from all that, it’s understandable that most Man United fans are excited to watch club matches again, including die-hard Man United fans who incidentally is the legendary former runner, Usain Bolt.
Bolt had met Ten Hag when Man United won 3-1 over Fulham in the FA Cup quarter-finals. The two spoke to each other and Bolt related the contents of the conversation, thanking Ten Hag as well.
“I actually asked him (Ten Hag) about who we would bring in the summer and he was like ‘Do you have any ideas?’,” Bolt told the PA news agency.
“It was a lovely conversation, simple but fun. (However) The first thing I said to him was ‘Thank you’. That’s the first thing I said and he was like ‘Thanks for what?’ and I said ‘For bringing back the glory days’.”
“It’s great to watch Manchester now. The team is together, they are as one. They work together, they work hard and you can see the goal now, you can see the determination in the way they play.”
“I’m really pleased with his progress and I can tell he will do a lot more. We have a lot more trophies in the future so I’m excited,” said the winner of eight gold medals at the Olympics.
One thing that impressed Bolt the most was the development of Man United under Ten Hag, especially the way he gave confidence to the players in the squad.
“I think it’s a belief. When I came in, when your coach gives you so much confidence, you believe anything is possible,” Bolt added.
“You want to work hard, you want to make him proud, you want to do the best for him, so I think that’s what he gets from the players.”
“He came in and the players believed in what he said, so now they are just working to prove it,” he explained.
