Erling Haaland Scores for Manchester City
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Erling Haaland scored his first goal for Manchester City, against Bayern Munich at Lambeau Field, Wisconsin, United States.
The Norway international player took just 12 minutes to get his name on the scoresheet, as he beat goalkeeper Manuel Neuer from close range.
However, shortly after the goal, the match was postponed due to bad weather.
Being the focus of the attack, the player who was brought in from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022 made a ‘sliding shot’ when he welcomed Jack Grealish’s pull pass.
Haaland stood unmarked in the Bayern penalty area, and he easily completed Grealish’s assist which had previously escaped the offside trap on the left.
This also marks a new era for Haaland with City, who are willing to spend deep enough to make him a mainstay in the attacking sector.
Weather Interrupted the Match
Due to the bad weather there, the duel between the two teams was postponed initially for several minutes.
The match was successfully played for approximately 12 minutes until Haaland’s goal was created, but the referee then ordered both teams to enter the changing room as the conditions were felt to be worrying.
There is no clarity about whether this match will be postponed or continued until this news is revealed.
