Fabinho believes Liverpool haven’t lost their momentum

DBasia.news –  Fabinho is not sure that losing to Napoli will have an impact on his team’s appearance in the Premier League. Ahead of the Chelsea vs Liverpool match, the 25-year-old defensive midfielder believes the team nicknamed the Reds still have the momentum of victory.

Liverpool, the status of Champions League defending champion, suffered defeat in the first match of the group stage this season. Yes, they were defeated 0-2 when they visited the headquarters of Napoli last week.

Meanwhile, the Reds are a team that still recorded 100 percent victory so far this season in the Premier League. Now, they will again face a difficult party against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The series of victories makes Fabinho sure Juergen Klopp’s squad hasn’t lost positive momentum. Especially when he will be back in the Premier League.

“I think the team’s momentum has been very important until now. Every win increases our confidence and drives us to play even better,” Fabinho said.

“In my opinion, the defeat at Napoli does not make us lose momentum. We will continue to try to play well and focus on chasing the target,” he said.
