Fabinho’s Injury Was Not Serious

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Fabinho’s injury had made Liverpool fans worried. However, there is new and good news because the injury is not as bad as expected.

Fabinho only played 30 minutes when Liverpool beat FC Midtjylland in the second match of the Champions League Group D at Anfield, Wednesday (28/10). The leg muscle has problems and is predicted to have a hamstring injury.

Fabinho’s injury made Liverpool experience a central defender crisis. The Reds first lost Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip who were also injured.

Fabinho was originally predicted to be out for up to six months. However, after undergoing an examination, the former AS Monaco player is predicted to recover faster.

Reporting from the Mirror, the tear in Fabinho’s leg muscle is still in the first class or light category. With such conditions, the 27-year-old is predicted to return to action at the end of November.

That means, Fabinho will only miss three matches with Liverpool. He will return after next month’s international break.

This is of course very grateful for the Liverpool coach, Jurgen Klopp. At least the center-back crisis that befell his team did not last long.

At the moment, Liverpool only have Joe Gomez as a regular, fit center-back. These conditions will force Klopp to lower young players to accompany him.

In the match against Midtjylland, Klopp included Rhys Williams as a substitute for Fabinho. The 19-year-old replied with a clean sheet.

It is not impossible that Williams will return to partnering with Gomez until his flagship defenders recover. Klopp also still has the option to play Nat Phillips, who was loaned to VFB Stuttgart last season.
