Fabio Canavaro Predicts the 2019/20 European Competition Will Not Continue

Almost all of Europe’s top leagues such as the Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A and Bundesliga had to be postponed after the spread of the corona virus has increased sharply on the blue continent. “In less than a month, it is unknown what will happen in this world. I think it will take a while for this virus to end in Italy and Spain,” Cannavaro stated.

Italy is now the country in Europe with the most Corona cases. Until Wednesday (25/03), the number of positive patients infected with this virus has reached 69,176 people.

“It will be difficult for European football to return (to play) before the season ends,” added Chinese club coach, Guangzhou Evergrande.

The termination of the competition this season will certainly make the clubs incur no small amount of loss. It also disorganized the competition’s schedule for next season and representatives from domestic leagues in European competition next season.
