Facts Behind the Vinicius Incident with Pique
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior was seen arguing with Barcelona defender Gerard Pique at El Clasico last weekend. Vinicius revealed the facts behind the incident.
The incident occurred in Madrid’s 2-0 victory over Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu, a week ago. Beginned with Madrid’s attack, Vinicius’s pass to Karim Benzema was tackled by Barcelona players. The Brazilian footballer then fell and asked for penalty.
However, the match continued as the referee considered there was no offense from Vinicius’ foul. Pique then pissed off and grumbled to Vinicius.
“Are you crazy? I didn’t touch you,” Pique said at the time.
The victory made Madrid took Barcelona’s throne in the Spanish League standings. Madrid has 56 points, one point ahead of its eternal rival in the second place.
Vinicius only found out why Pique was angry after watching the match recordings.
“I thought he hoofed at me, but then I watched the video replay and it really wasn’t him, but Arthur,” Vinicius told to Real Madrid Youtube channel, as reported by Marca.
“That’s why he said that I was crazy,” he joked.
