Fans Entering Man United Vs Juventus Match Brought A Gun

DBasia.news – Old Trafford’s safety is under the spotlight after the incident of fans invading the pitch of Manchester United home in the match against Juventus in the Champions League. It was a big blunder for Man United’s security.

The match between Manchester United against Juventus on 2018-2019 Champions League match, Wednesday (24/10), was stopped after the audience entering the pitch. The supporter did that to take a picture with Man United former player, Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, the situation is getting more complicated. After conducting a thorough investigation, it’s revealed that the supporter brought two toy guns in his bag.

“Carrying a children’s miniature plastic toy gun into a stadium is clearly an extremely irresponsible act. Fortunately, the actions of the pitch intruder at the ​Juventus game did not harm anyone,” Man United spokesperson told BBC.

“However, as the security and safety of all fans and staff is the absolute priority at Manchester United, the club immediately launched an investigation,” he continued.

Meanwhile, UEFA gave the sanction for invading supporter to the pitch in the match against Juventus. The Red Devils must response before November 22, 2018.

In 2016, Man United evacuated all spectators just a couple of minutes before the match started after finding a mysterious package. Apparently, it was The Red Devils training tools.
