Federico Chiesa Is Proud Wearing Azzurri Jersey

DBasia.news –  Fiorentina striker Federico Chiesa feels so proud wearing the Italy national team jersey. The 21-year-old striker revealed his target in terms of goalscoring.

Chiesa has played 11 caps since the international debut in March 2018 when Italy got defeated 0-2 from Argentina in the friendly match. He played the regular match with Azzurri under Roberto Mancini.

Recently, Chiesa played in the 0-1 victory match against the US in the friendly match on Tuesday (20/11). But, the son of Enrico Chiesa just played for 46 minutes.

“It’s always an honor to wear the Italy shirt. Yesterday’s victory against the USA was important and exciting. I’m happy to be part of this group,” Chiesa said.

“In the league, I have to always show I’m worthy of this shirt.”

“Goals? My goal is to do better than last year, I’ll try to get at least seven or more.”
