DBasia.news – Fenerbahce has denied the transfer issue which links them to Arsenal attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil. The Turkish club was unable to pay Ozil.
In recent weeks, Mesut Ozil has been linked to the exit from Arsenal. Fenerbache is a team that is aggressively targeting Ozil’s services.
Arsenal itself reportedly did not mind releasing Mesut Ozil. This condition is because the 30-year-old player has a large salary.
Fenerbache itself is the goal of Mesut Ozil because he has Turkish ancestry. The former German national team player is the son of an immigrant family from Turkey.
“In the past few weeks, there has been information that says we are interested in recruiting Mesut Ozil. The situation has spread in the past few days,” Fenerbache wrote.
“Mesut Ozil has an extraordinary career and promotes Turkey throughout the world. He has important values in Fenerbache’s identity. Unfortunately, we don’t approach Ozil.”
“In the current economic conditions, approaching Mesut Ozil is not possible for Fenerbache. We have a Win-Win program that will not be realized shortly,” the statement continued.
At present, Mesut Ozil himself is preparing for a pre-season session Arsenal. The Gunners will undergo a preseason tour in the United States soon.
